Our Attorneys

David H. Jones began his legal career in 1989 after graduating from the University of Texas-Austin School of Law with honors.  David worked for a large law firm in Dallas, Texas for two years before moving to the Rio Grande Valley in September, 1991.  David then worked for this firm's predecessor, Jarvis & Kittleman, P.C., before starting his own law firm for the purpose of focusing primarily on civil appeals and litigation support.  During that time, David won several appeals, including the affirmance of a $4 million dollar judgment and a $1 million dollar judgment.

After building a successful solo practice for four years, David briefly left the legal profession and obtained Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Religion degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia.  He also obtained practical ministry experience which has proven useful in counseling clients and witnesses and in dealing with adversarial attorneys.  

David returned to the legal profession and the Rio Grande Valley in September, 2002 to work as an associate with Kittleman, Thomas & Gonzales, L.L.P.  David has also returned to primarily handling civil appeals and original proceedings, as well as motion practice and legal research.  David has had a broad range of experience on both sides of the docket and all types of civil litigation.
