More than just lawyers, Kittleman, Thomas & Gonzales' attorneys have a commitment to public service. Our lawyers regularly give back to the legal profession and to the community by representing clients on a pro bono basis and by serving in leadership roles in international, national, state, and local bar associations, as well as leadership roles in local charitable and civic organizations.
Both Veronica Gonzales and Rebecca Vela have served as President of the Hidalgo County Bar Association; Ray Thomas served as President of the Texas Young Lawyers Association and as a director of the State Bar of Texas; and many other attorneys within the firm have served and continue to serve as directors and officers of our local, state and national bar associations. Our Senior Partner, Wes Kittleman, has served multiyear terms as president of the Historical Museum of South Texas, the Valley Land Fund and the McAllen Country Club, Inc. Ray Thomas served as President of the McAllen Boys and Girls Club and lead its capital campaign in the building its newest facility. Additionally, Veronica Gonzales is currently a member of the Texas House of Representatives representing District 41, which includes areas of McAllen, Edinburg, Mission and Alton, Texas.
