Benjamin R. Guerra
Benjamin (“Ben”) Guerra was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and returned in 2011, when he joined Kittleman, Thomas & Gonzales.
Ben received his degree in Finance in 2003 from University of Texas at Austin and went on to receive his law degree from the University of Texas in 2006. After law school, Ben and his wife, Maria, moved to San Antonio, Texas where Ben practiced for four years with the law firm of Martin & Drought, P.C. as a litigation associate, before returning to the Rio Grande Valley in 2011.
Ben is licensed to practice in the state courts of Texas and in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Western, Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ben is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Hidalgo County Bar Association.
Since returning to the Valley, Ben's practice has focused primarily on general civil litigation matters, including commercial litigation, creditors' rights/collections, foreclosure, partnership disputes, bankruptcy, and personal injury.
